A huge main event for WWE Extreme Rules has recently been rumoured, with two of SmackDown’s biggest Superstars slated for it.
According to a recent report/rumour from Xero News, the event will be headlined by a match between Karrion Kross and Drew McIntyre.
“Being told its basically a lock that extreme rules main event will be Drew vs Kross” the site claimed on Twitter.

It’s worth noting that this rumour from Xero News is just that, a rumour, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate at this time.
From what is happening in the landscape of the company right now, it certainly makes sense for there to be a Kross vs McIntyre match.
Both men are expected to be in the main event of WWE Clash at the Castle, and if Roman Reigns does lose one of his belts (as has been rumoured), then this could be a match for said belt.
A WWE Championship match between Karrion and Drew would be a big one and I can absolutely see it happening at Extreme Rules.
