WWE Unified World Champion Roman Reigns defeated Drew McIntyre at Clash at the Castle, but will he be at Extreme Rules?
According to a recent report/rumor from Xero News, it appears as though the Tribal Chief will not be at the event.
Interestingly, Dave Meltzer claimed that Roman was set for the Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia, but Xero has claimed that this is also not the case.
“Got told yesterday atm there aren’t any plans for Roman at Crown Jewel” the site claimed on their Twitter account today.
“This may change closer to the time. For the moment, the main focus is on The Usos/Solo Sikoa and Sami Zayn. If they don’t do a Roman match for Crown Jewel, then he won’t be wrestling until Survivor Series” Xero News concluded.
Roman Reigns WWE Extreme Rules
It’s worth noting that this rumour from Xero News is just that, a rumour, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate at this time.
I would not be surprised at all if we don’t see The Tribal Chief at Extreme Rules, but this has not yet been confirmed officially by WWE.
No Roman at Crown Jewel would be a shocker though, as the Saudi Arabia shows are usually packed with star power to justify the huge amount that the Saudi government are paying for the events.
We’ll have to wait and see on this, but I would be very surprised if Reigns wasn’t on the Crown Jewel card against a top babyface.
