WWE Superstars Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar will be main eventing WrestleMania 38 Night Two, but what will happen with the winner after the event?

According to an update from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the plan for the winner is to only hold both the Universal and WWE Championship for a short time.

“The winner will be a champion. Although internally it’s conceded this one unified champion is temporary,” Dave Meltzer confirmed in the Newsletter.

“‘It will change (from one champion again) because it’s not plausible, not for either’s schedule, not for the networks, not for the long term,'” a source also revealed to the Observer.

It is likely that we will see Roman Reigns emerge victorious from the event, with the rumours that he will be facing The Rock at WrestleMania 39.
