Rhea Ripley: Challenge to “The Man”
In a recent interview with India Today, Ripley expressed her eagerness to prove herself against Becky Lynch, often referred to as “The Man”.
She acknowledged Lynch’s significant achievements in WWE, stating, “She’s going down in history, as one of the best. And she will 110 percent be in the Hall of Fame one day.”
However, Ripley is confident in her abilities and believes that when it comes to a match with her, it’s a completely different ball game.
She boldly stated that if the match were to happen at WrestleMania 40, she would welcome the challenge with open arms: “And if it were to be myself and Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 40, you know, I, I invite that challenge. Like you said, we went one on one in NXT. I would like to see what the outcome would be. I would love to step in the ring with her. I think it would be a great challenge.”

Past Achievements and Future Prospects
Becky Lynch has recently been in the spotlight following her feud with WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus. Their intense rivalry culminated in a steel cage match at Payback 2023, where Lynch emerged victorious.
On the same night, Ripley successfully defended her Women’s World Title against Raquel Rodriguez.
Ripley’s confidence is palpable. She feels that many, including Lynch, might underestimate her based on past encounters.
Referring to her match with Charlotte at WrestleMania 39, she mentioned how Charlotte thought she was still the same competitor from their WrestleMania 36 bout. Ripley emphasised her evolution, describing herself as a “completely different animal” now.
