WWE is reportedly looking at forming a new heel stable around Edge following his match against AJ Styles at WrestleMania 38.

Fightful Select recently reported that the company are looking at creating a new stable to aid in the new heel turn for the WWE Hall of Famer.

“With Edge turning heel for the first time in ages, WWE is looking to add more to his presentation” Fightful revealed. “We’re told there has been a particular pitch that has been talked about heavily from the creative side of things that would see Edge get a new stable.”

“There have been several notable names that have been discussed for the group, including former WWE United States Champion Damian Priest” Fightful added.

“It was originally thought that Priest would be on the WrestleMania card against Finn Balor in a championship rubber match, but instead they’re both in the WrestleMania Smackdown Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

“We’re told that unless plans change for the heel faction, that could begin to happen imminently” Fightful concluded, meaning that we could see the formation even this weekend.
