WWE’s fiery redhead, Becky Lynch, has always been known for her prowess in the ring and her sharp wit outside of it.

This week, she once again showcased her knack for delivering zingers, this time targeting fellow WWE superstar, Bayley, on Twitter/X.

Becky Lynch: Grand Slam Achievement

Becky Lynch achieved a significant milestone on the September 12th episode of WWE NXT. She secured her first NXT Women’s Championship, completing her Grand Slam.

This victory came after she defeated Tiffany Stratton, who had previously boasted about being a superior champion compared to many past titleholders, including Becky herself.

Interestingly, until this win, the NXT Women’s title was the only one Becky hadn’t held.

Bayley’s Shade and Becky’s Retort

Following Becky’s title win, Bayley couldn’t resist taking a jab at her on Twitter. She pointed out that it took Becky eight years to win a title that Bayley, Charlotte Flair, and Sasha Banks had all previously secured.

However, Becky, never one to back down from a challenge, had a hilarious response up her sleeve. She quipped back, highlighting that she achieved this feat in “less time than it’s taken you to main event WrestleMania.”

This retort was a pointed reminder that Bayley remains the only member of the Four Horsewomen who hasn’t main evented WrestleMania.

For context, Becky and Charlotte headlined WrestleMania 35 in 2019, while Sasha Banks took the spotlight during WrestleMania 37’s first night in 2021.
